Every year we have many days to celebrate and honor women, but the men, the strong sex, also work hard and dedicate themselves to their work, taking care of their families throughout 365 days a year. Therefore, the company’s union, together with the VSII sisters, planned and organized a day to send thanks and congratulations to our brothers, friends, and wonderful colleagues – International Men’s Day 19/11.
In Vietnam, this day is usually not popular and rarely mentioned. However, International Men’s Day has been held in more than 170 countries including South Africa, India, Austria, Denmark, Singapore, … and was first held in 1999 in India. International Men’s Day was born with the purpose of improving morale, preventing suicide and raising awareness about men’s health.
Especially for the information technology industry, men account for nearly 70%, so congratulating and thanking the brothers on this special day not only increases the cohesion between colleagues but also shows the care and respect for the lovely brothers and colleagues of the VSII family.
We hope that this event can become an annual activity, bringing more colors and laughter to the office life of VSIIers.
